Instructions for Professors: Integration of links in LearningHub

Instructions:

Before starting, it is useful to get familiar with Credo Instruct:

  1. To get familiar with Credo Instruct in the new browser tab, go to https://libguides.andrews.edu/jwlil
  1. All modules are divided into two groups – Information Literacy and Critical Thinking, and they are user ready for users to do self-learning activities.
  2. Click on Information for Teachers or use the direct link https://libguides.andrews.edu/instruct to return to the page with instructions.
  3. The list of available tutorials with their names and the necessary code can be accessed using the tabs.

To add a link, follow this procedure:

  1. Log in to your LearningHub Account and select your course.
  2. Click on Turn editing on.
  3. Select the course topic for which you want to add the Credo Instruct link and click on Add an activity or resource.       
  4. Click on External tool.    
  5. In the Activity name box enter the desired name or use the name of the link.
  6. From Preconfigured tool, select Credo Instruct.
  7. If you haven’t done it earlier, follow the Before starting instruction above. If you are already familiar with Credo Instruct, in the new browser tab, open Credo Instruct instructions https://libguides.andrews.edu/instruct
  1. A list of available tutorials with code can be selected using the tabs with code.
  1. Click on desired code tab and find the one you want to include in your course.
  2. Click on the desired Click to Copy the Code button. The message that the code is copied will appear.                              
  3. Return to the LearningHub tab.
  4. Paste the code to the Tool URL.
  5. Ignore the message that Tool URL’s domain does not match tool configuration (it is due to added authentication code) and click Save and return to the course at the bottom of the page.
  6. Click Turn editing off or Add another activity.
  7. A click on the resource will open the inserted tutorial.

Instructions with the visual example

4. Click on External tool.

10. Return to the LearningHub tab.
